I had registered agreements for leave & license for total period of 5 years with licensee for my residential apartment in Mumbai.The tenant is seeking further agreement to extend the total license period beyond 5 years.I have heard the tenant may get tenancy rights if he stays in the licensed apartment beyond 5 years.Is it true.If true,can I register a fresh agreement with him after a gap of 1-2 months.
